“Too Much Heaven” is one of the biggest hit by the English band “Bee Gees”. In this song, the Bee Gees which was commonly used in Beatle’s music and became standardized. The Beatles’ songs are often sang in harmony. That is when several singers sing the same note in a different key. However, Bee Gees adapted the method of singing in harmony which was standardized by the Beatles, and sang their songs in unison. That is when multiple singers sing the same note at the same key. The use of the singing method, unison, is clearly noticeable in “Too Much Heaven”.
Simon and Garfunkel was an American singing duo formed in the 1960's, consisting of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. The duo became widely popular with their beautiful harmony. Like The Beatles' songs, the duo sang in harmony, with Paul Simon singing the lower note and Art Garfunkel singing the higher note.
