Richard Starkey, commonly known with his unique stage name "Ringo Starr" was born on July 7, 1940, in Liverpool, England. He was the last member to join The Beatles after Pete Best, their original drummer was let go. As the drummer of The Beatles, Ringo was always found in the background of other three Beatles, however his contribution to the group was tremendous. Ringo was more than just a drummer to the group, as he had written/sang songs that successfully scored in the charts such as; "Yellow Submarine", "Octopus Garden" and "With A Little Help From My Friends".
Ringo also started his solo career after the breakup of the band in 1970. He also had made appearances in several Holly-Wood movies.
